This beautiful piece is named after George Imlay. George was born in 1794 in Scotland, in 1838 he travelled from Sydney to South Australia with livestock. While there he became one of the first Europeans to cross the central Mt Lofty Ranges and explore through Woodside. This huge pine was located near the entrance to the town of Woodside.
